Miri Ben-Ari (מירי בן-ארי) is an Israeli and American violinist, musician, producer, and humanitarian. She is a Grammy winner. She created her own unique sound by a fusion of classical style with jazz, R&B, and hip-hop, and has been recognized as a musical pioneer. She is known as the “The Hip Hop Violinist.”
Miri is of Polish Jewish and Russian Jewish descent. Around her twenties, she moved from Israel to the U.S. She lives in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
Miri’s paternal grandparents were from Poland. They were the only ones to survive the Holocaust among their close family.
